Zhanjiang's first rural Taobao project was inaugurated on July 30 in Suixi county, as a result of cooperation between the Suixi county People's Government and Alibaba Group, the e-commerce giant in China.

The project will help promote the development of Internet Plus e-commerce industry.

Suixi has become the first pivot county for rural Taobao project in Zhanjiang.

The county will build the E-commerce Industrial Park in the second half of 2015.

Alibaba Taobao county-level service centers, including a rookie logistics center and a partner training center will settle in the park.

Suixi will also sell fresh seafood, agricultural products, flowers and plants online starting from next year.

Alibaba's rural Taobao project aims to achieve rural-urban integration, allow villagers enjoy services in downtown Zhanjiang and encourage more young people with entrepreneurial dreams to start their business in hometown.

Suixi county will build 30 county-level service stations and recruit 30 rural Taobao partners in 2015.

Alibaba Group will make investments to improve the infrastructure and network system at those service stations, give training classes to partners and offer subsidies for logistics.
