Dabu beef balls

Beef balls are one of the most famous snacks in the county of Dabu, Guangdong province. They are soft, moist and juicy. The steamed beef balls are made of fresh beef shank blended with eggs, water, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper. The balls are then poured into a pot with sesame oil, pepper and parsley. They are heated and eaten with hot pepper or garlic sauce.
