Abstract: In recent years, China’s foreign economic exchanges and cooperation have continued to advance and become increasingly engaged in the global integration landscape. However, Chinese enterprises still face restrictions as well as new problems and challenges in terms of going global. Problems such as slow development of professional service system, inability for service provision and insufficient support for enterprises have become major obstacles, affecting the progress of going global for domestic enterprises. As China is moving toward high-quality economic development in the new phase, coupled with the launch and advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, domestic enterprises have seen urgent demands of transforming driving forces, improving the efficiency and enhancing the quality of developing global businesses. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), the government needs to, apart from offering strategic support to enterprises, improve the capacity of providing high-level professional services for enterprises to go global, enhance China’s soft power and governance capacity steadily, expand international cooperation in various fields, and improve the effectiveness and quality of business presence in the world.
