Lu Wei et al.

Green development is a complex and systematic engineering and a long-term task, involving economic, social and industrial development and scientific and technological progress, etc. The key to achieving green development is to foster an effective institutional mechanism and policy environment. In 2014, the Research Department of techno- Economy of DRC launched a research on the institutional mechanism and policy for green development. Focusing on the institutional mechanism and policy of green development, the research was made from several aspects including regional experience, typical fields and international experience. The research team selected Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen to study the typical experience of local green development. The team made surveys in the fields of clean coal, co-generation units of heat and power and waste recycling reuse. It also studied the institutional mechanism and policies of some developed countries in promoting green development. This book is divided into eight chapters.
