The present condition and impact of the social functions of State-owned coal enterprises and the main obstacles for the separation of the social functions from Sate-owned coal enterprises

Abstract:

Due to the restraint of various factors, the separation of social functions from State-owned coal enterprises is moving slowly. At present, the social burden of State-owned coal enterprises is still quite heavy and this has constituted a negative impact upon the further reform and development of State-owned coal enterprises. The further separation of social functions from State-owned coal enterprises is facing many difficulties and obstacles which include both the general obstacles of the separation of social functions of those non-coal enterpriese and special obstacles governed by the speciality of coal industry.
