Qatar Prime Minister meets with Chinese justice minister

When China's justice minister, Wu Aiying, and a Chinese delegation went to Doha, the capital of Qatar for the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, she also had a meeting with the country's prime minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, on April 13, with the Chinese ambassador to Qatar, Gao Youzhen, taking part.

The prime minister sent his best regards to China's PM, Li Keqiang and thanked Wu and her delegation for taking participate in the congress, and said it was great support for the meeting.

Wu expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and spoke highly of Qatar's development and congratulated the country on the United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. She also described Chinese achievements on legal affairs and the rule of law and commented favorably on China's and Qatar's judicial cooperation in recent years.

Wu added that she hopes both countries would increase exchanges and cooperation in the law and other fields, and promote a bilateral strategic partnership.
