Vector chemical control in disaster areas

1. Before applying pesticides, publicity work has to be done to avoid poisoning people and animals. Try to avoid spraying drugs at noon when the temperature is high.

2. Insecticide and deratization drugs should be stored in special areas and managed by professionals.

3. Insecticide and deratization drugs implementation personnel should protect themselves in drug transportation, subpackage and spraying by wearing long-sleeve clothes, hats, eyeshades, facial masks and gloves.

4. Smoking, drinking and feeding are forbidden during work.

5. Workers have to clean themselves after work, wash instruments, put medicine in storage rooms and properly deal with waste.

6. When poisoning happens, first remove the poison, then take the victim out of the poisoning site. Take off the polluted clothes and wash polluted skin, hair and fingernails with soap or clean water. If poison gets in the eye, rinse it with clean water and go see a doctor in time.
