Haidian district has made great breakthroughs in building up its infrastructure in recent years. What used to be a rural and suburban area is being rapidly transformed into one of the most developed parts of Beijing.
Fengtai Science Park is located in Fengtai, one of Beijing's eight districts and a transportation hub in southwest Beijing. The district's 43 percent urban greenbelt coverage rate ranks high among other districts.
The construction of Yizhuang Light Rail started in 2007 and was completed in 2010. With stations in the four districts of Fengtai, Chaoyang, Daxing and Tongzhou.
