The 3rd Zhongguancun Science Park Sports Meeting was held successfully at the Beijing Fengtai Sports Center on May 20, 2012.

The meeting was jointly held by the Administrative Committee of the Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Sports Bureau, Fengtai District People Government and Zhongguancun Development Group. Liu Qi, the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Secretary, Guo Jinlong, Mayor of Beijing and other officials also attended the opening ceremony.

This sports meeting carried forward Beijing's spirit of patriotism, innovation, inclusiveness and social morals. The event promotes the further integration of culture, science and technology in the science park, and also displays scientific and technological innovation achievements.

Performances at the meeting adopted advanced technological elements to integrate culture, sports, songs and dances. New technologies like light emitting diode monitors were used to demonstrate a vigorous science park.

Delegates from large-scaled enterprises like Lenovo, Sina, Sohu, as well as many medium and small-sized companies also took part in the event.
