Lushuihe National Forest Park is one of the best destinations for tourists eager to see the most original nature in Northeast China.

The park, 60 kilometers from the north Changbai Mountain Scenic Spot, covers about 25,786 hectares, 95.5 percent of which is covered with trees and bushes.

There are 12,000 hectares of virgin Korean pine forest in the Park, which is the largest in Asia, and oak trees, Chinese ashtrees, Manchurian walnuts and Amur limes can also be seen there.

The Park offers mountains, waterfalls, river rides and rime and ice sightseeing; most importantly vacationers can explore the life of an ancient forest.

More than 30,000 tourists per year choose to do just that.

Besides exceptional scenery and entertainment facilities, the Park also has a calligraphy park and a hunting culture museum promoting traditional Changbai Mountain culture.

Over 50 stone tablets carved with ancient poems and pictures lie in the calligraphy park. They tell an old story of praise for the beauty of the area, spoken by ancestral voices.

The hunting museum was the first one in China to display real hunting materials, methods and processes through pictures, videos and VR imaging.
