Sienna Miller

Although she's gone so far as having an engagement ring on her finger, she's never actually taken the plunge and pledged to love, honour and obey. Why get married when you can just move on?

"I'm a commitment phobe; I don't want to do it," she admitted to Ellen DeGeneres. "It's like a sport to me. I don't care, I don't want to get married."

She added later: "I'm very happy with everything now. My life is a journey just like everybody else's. Your regrets aren't what you did, but what you didn't do. So I take every opportunity."

Factory Girl star Sienna Miller is in no hurry to have her nuptials. She was engaged to notorious love rat Jude Law after he left his wife Sadie Frost, but the couple's inability to set a wedding day told its own story. Instead they enjoyed the fame their relationship brought . . . and walked away when the love light dimmed.

Miller admitted recently: "I fell in love with someone very, very famous, and that's beyond all of our control. It just becomes this soap opera. And I guess I had a few pretty good episodes."

Announcing the split last year, a friend of the couple confessed: "It was a mutual agreement because they both thought the relationship had run its course."

Since then Miller has bounced back, with pictures of her cuddling up to UK musicians Isaac Ferry (son of Roxy Music singer, Bryan Ferry) and Jamie Burke (although not at the same time . . . yet) - and linked to Josh Hartnett and Puff Daddy.

Kirsten Dunst has also been seen with a string of leading men but has no plans whatsoever to settle down. Penelope Cruz backed off after Tom Cruise started talking marriage, and Kate Moss goes out of her way to insist she has no plans to marry her junkie fiance Pete Doherty, having previously dated Johnny Depp, Jefferson Hack and Billy Zane among others.

She said early this month: "Things are same old, same old. We don't have an exciting year planned, we are taking things as they come. I just want to be with my boyfriend."

Scarlett Johansson is frequently seen on many different men's arms, but she's completely upfront about her desire to stay single. "I don't think human beings are monogamous creatures by nature," she said recently. "You have to put a lot of effort into a relationship with somebody.

"People cheat for different reasons with some constantly needing to kind of reaffirm their status as a dominating person, while other people are unhappy in their relationships but they're dependent on a partner."
