CRI highlight

These days, college graduates have one more choice when it comes to starting their careers - going to the western regions of China, where the nation needs them the most. Since China's Youth League launched this campaign in 2003,more than 100,000 volunteers have answered the call. On Life in China at 23:30, CRI will welcome one of those volunteers. Li Wei went to the poverty-stricken county of Sanyuan in Northwest China's Shaanxi province five years ago. Now, he has settled down there and found his place teaching and inspiring local children.
