A newspaper in Denver, Colorado has published an advertisement for a marijuana reviewer.

The Westword publication has already received 120 applicants to rate the drug and the outlets that sell it, with many budding testers offering to do the job without pay, The AP reports.

However, the person who wins the job must have a medical condition that qualifies them to legally enter marijuana stores and buy the controlled substance.

Web editor Joe Tone said: "More and more people are having the opportunity to use marijuana for whatever illness they have.

"So we want to be a place they can come to find out which place is the best, the cleanest, the closest, that kind of stuff."

Features editor Joel Warner, who came up with the idea but does not use the drug, said of outlets: "Some really looked like your college drug dealer's dorm room. You know, Bob Marley posters on the wall and big marijuana leaf posters.

"But then some were so fancy, like dentist's offices. They had bubbling aquariums in the lobby and were so clean. I thought, somebody needs to review these. Somebody needs to tell people what these places are like."
