Looks like Mykonos

Greek food is alive and well in Pudong. Finally, Shanghai has authentic food this side of Athens. Not only is the food the real deal, but so is the environment.

Short of yelling opa or breaking plates, there is a lively atmosphere backed by Greek music, aqua tables reminiscent of Mykonos and divine smells emanating from the open kitchen. Everything is truly Greek, even the wine at only 20 yuan per glass. For starters, we ordered stuffed grape leaves (dolma, 25 yuan), which received a split vote from those who prefer this dish warm and smothered in lemon sauce.

The slightly less tradional Greek salad (40 yuan) had just the right touch of Mediterranean olive oil and creamy feta cheese atop fresh colorful greens. Also sampled was a special of the day consisting of roasted vegetables with olive oil (20 yuan) which were savored and devoured by the vegetarians in our group. Traditional moussaka (55 yuan) was a treat as was the variety of gyros as either platters or sandwiches. The spanakopita (30 yuan) is a real winner offering flakey pastry, fresh spinach and cheese in every bite.

The biggest disappointment was the lack of baklava, though they promise it's coming soon. The next best choice was a large slice of karidpita (25 yuan), a walnut cake soaked in light syrup. This is a Greek eating experience not to be missed.
