Mahe Tupouniua became the Tongan Ambassador to China in 2008. He was Tonga’s acting deputy secretary of Ministry of foreign affairs before taking the Beijing post. Mahe Tupouniua graduated from University of Monash ( Australia), majoring in foreign affairs and trade. He has three children.
