Yangling Demonstration Zone is located in the center of the Guanzhong plain, Shaanxi Province, and it is 82km to the east of Xi’an, 86km to the west of Baoji, with a total area of 135 square meters. Yangling Demonstration Zone is consisted of a county-level Yangling District, 4 townships, a sub-district office and 87 administrative villages, with a total population of 200,000, of which 80,000 is urban population. Since its foundation in 1997, Yangling has made impressive progress in infrastructure construction, industry development, reform of science and education system, promotion and modeling and service environment construction. In 2008, the region’s GDP increased from 300 million to 32 billion, with an annual growth of 23% and the disposable income of urban residents reached 15,886 RMB.
杨凌示范区位于陕西省关中平原中部，东距西安82公里，西距宝鸡86公里，总面积135平方公里。下辖一个县级杨陵区，有4乡1镇1个街道办事处，87个行政村，总人口20万，其中城市人口8万人。自1997年示范区成立以来，杨凌在基础设施建设、产业发展、科教体制改革、推广示范、服务环境建设等方面取得了重要进展。2008年，全区生产总值从3亿元增加到32亿元，年均增长23%；城镇居民可支配收入达到15866元。
