Reckless

但事实不尽然,今天谈到的reckless(鲁莽的,不计后果的)就是提醒大家:词缀不可滥用 !

The reckless driver was fined for overspeed and warned to drive reckfully(那个鲁莽的司机因为超速被罚款,并被警告以后小心驾驶。)

What recks he if the sky should fall ? 就reckless本身来讲,它强调"wild carelessness and disregard for consequences(不计后果的行为)",如:The government has taken effective measures to protect the Tibetan antelope from reckless slaughter(政府已采取有效措施,杜绝残杀藏羚羊的鲁莽行为)。
