The Holland Group, a global supplier of innovative vehicle coupling, lift and suspension system products to the heavy duty transportation industry, announced plans to introduce the Holland Neway ADTB-II 4-Air Spring Bus & Motor Coach Suspension with Holland's Transverse Beam Technology feature designated specially for the Chinese bus and motor coach market.

The ADTB-II design combines exceptional ride quality with high roll stability. An integral Transverse (anti-sway) Beam absorbs up to 85% of roll forces protecting the axle from stress and allows the use of softer, ride quality optimized air springs mounted directly under the frame rails of the chassis.

The air spring location minimizes potential for damage by road debris, and less installation space is required, which helps expand usable equipment, passenger and cargo space. All connections are rubber bushed to help isolate the bus from road vibration and noise.

The ADTB-II also features non-torque reactive suspension geometry that maintains a near constant pinion angle throughout full axle articulation. The ADTB-II minimizes unwanted driveline noise and vibration while effectively increasing the service life of driveline components such as U-joints and pinion bearings. This is especially important for short drive shaft application common in rear engine bus and motor coach applications.

The ADTB-II will be available in a rated capacity of 12,000 kg (26,500 lb.) rating.
