Parties unite to combat Taiwan secession

One of the principles of Taiwan's National Unification Guidelines, adopted in February 1991 by the National Unification Council, is that both the mainland and Taiwan are Chinese territory and the promotion of unification is the common responsibility of all Chinese people.
