Located within the Yangpu district, China's first intellectual property rights (IPRs) park - the Shanghai IPR Park (constituted by three elements: patent, trademark and copyright) greeted its first anniversary of birth on April 19. To welcome the occasion the park launched a week-long activity starting from April 19 on the theme of IPRs.

As learned 90 percent of the headquarter building of the Shanghai IPR Park has been used. Recently eight service platforms including the Shanghai IPR Trading Center, the Copyright Trading center and the Financing Training Center of the China Development Bank have been unveiled at the park.

Jiang Zhuoqing, chief executive of the district, said they would strive to turn the IPR Park into an influential technological transfer and incubation platform in China, which could radiate the whole Yangtze Rive Delta.
