Huang Shengyi returns for Kung Fu

Huang Shengyi will continue to star in the sequel to Stephen Chow's blockbuster "Kung Fu Hustle" which starts shooting later this year.


Chinese actress Huang Shengyi gradually rose to stardom as starring in Stephen Chow's blockbuster "Kung Fu Hustle." [sohu]  

Actor-director Chow praised her leading performance in the first movie at a gathering in Shanghai.

Kung Fu Hustle took a record 155 million Yuan at box offices across the Chinese mainland, making it China's top grossing film in 2004, surpassing Zhang Yimou's "House of Flying Daggers".
