FM Li Zhaoxing holds talks with Rice

U.S. national security advisor Condoleeza Rice is in Beijing for a two-day visit July 8, 2004. Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks with her in Beijing Thursday afternoon. The two sides talked about bilateral ties and international issues of common concern. President Hu Jintao, Central Military Commission Chairman Jiang Zemin and State Councillor Tang Jianxuan will also meet Rice Thursday and Friday. [Reuters]
