Soccer-Man City League Cup game put back after Keegan threat ( 2003-11-04 09:39) (Agencies) Manchester City's League Cup
fourth-round tie at Tottenham Hotspur has been moved back a day after manager
Kevin Keegan threatened to play a junior side, the English premier league club's
website said on Monday.
City had faced the prospect of three games in six days before the League Cup
match was postponed by 24 hours until December 3.
"I will have to decide if I send a junior team to White Hart Lane and just
get out of the competition," Keegan told his club's website before the game was
switched.
City play Poland's Groclin on November 27 in a UEFA Cup second round, second
leg match and face Middlesbrough at home in the premier league on November
30.
