Roadside bombing kills civilian in Iraq
( 2003-09-24 17:12) (Agencies)

A roadside bomb exploded Wednesday in north-central Baghdad as a U.S. military patrol was passing. One civilian was killed and 23 were injured, police said.

No damage was done to the American patrol but two civilian buses were destroyed, according to Iraqi police Lt. Awas Ibrahim.

U.S. forces have been increasingly attacked by roadside bombs, most of them detonated by remote control from a distance convoys pass.
