 the San Diego Zoo, applies a stethoscope to the zoo's three-week-old panda 
 during a routine examination on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at the SBC 
 Giant Panda Research Station. The zoo's veterinary staff conducted its 
 second exam on the cub and confirmed that it is a male, saying the panda 
 now weighs 19 ounces, measures 10 inches long and is in very good health.
