At least 15 Afghans were killed and five wounded when a car bomb exploded in the southern province of Helmand on Wednesday, a provincial official said.

Ghulam Mahaiuddin, the head of the provincial administration, said the blast happened in the morning in Nadi Ali district to the west of the provincial capital of Lashkargah.
