Four Chinese make quarters in ITF Men's Satellite Circuit

Top seed Chen Ti of Chinese Taipei suffered an early exit when he failed to make through the second round, while four other Chinese players booked their quarterfinal berths at the Men's China Satellite Circuit Week 3 ofthe International Tennis Federation here on Thursday.
  
From a brisk start, Chen Ti got an upper hand and won the opening set 6-2 against Chinese Wang Yu jr. After taking the second set 6-4 to split the first two sets, Wang exploited Chen's slight loss of confidence, edging over the winner and runner-up oflast two weeks in Tianjin in the tiebreak 6-3.
  
Wang's teammate Sun Peng became a lucky winner over South Korean Lee Sang-Hoon who won the first set 6-4 but abandoned the match after straining his right thigh when he lagged behind 5-6 inthe second set.
  
In other actions, second seed Yu Xinyuan of China made a quick work of Australian Richard Magney 6-3, 6-4, and quarlifier Wang Yining beat fellow Chinese Wang Yu 6-1, 6-3.
  
Others entering the third round included Lee Chui-Hee and An Jae-Sung of South Korea, Robert Gustafsson of Sweden, and JapaneseToshiaki Sakai.
  
The Final of Week 3 is to be held on Sunday, August 10.
