A digital art show featuring the ancient scroll painting, Night Revels of Han Xizai, opened to the public Tuesday at Beijing Capital International Airport.

The show is themed on the well-known scroll painted by Gu Hongzhong during the Five Dynasties period (907-960) now in Beijing's Palace Museum collection. The show also depicts a dance performance with Nanyin music, which is an intangible cultural heritage.

At the indoor landscape area, you can see a digital screen featuring the ancient painting, old-style houses with white walls, green tiles, ancient-style lamps and beautiful ladies singing, dancing, arranging flowers and serving tea. The setting is so realistic that passengers will feel like traveling to the past and attending Han Xizai's banquet.

What's more, it offers hands-on demonstrations of a series of apps developed by the Palace Museum in Beijing, which have become very popular among the public.

The show was co-organized by the Palace Museum and Beijing Capital International Airport Co. Ltd. Supported by China National Arts Fund since 2015, the show debuted at Gulangyu Concert Hall in Xiamen. After the show in Beijing, it will then move to Shenzhen at the end of June.
