Tibet's Yiong knife has a history of 400 years. It is well known for its special material and craftsmanship. The material consists of three kinds of iron from the local mountain. Covered by fish skin, the knife's handle and sheath are made of wood from the primeval forests in Yiong town. The length of the knife varies. Its most distinctive features are its sharp edge and long and slender stainless body. The knife is still very precious. It takes one month for a bladesmith to make several knives.
