Big smiles with six to eight teeth showing and 45 degree handshakes are required skills for the 110 Chinese girls training to be volunteers for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games sailing competition.

The lovely volunteers' difficult training is taking place in Qingdao, the eastern Chinese host city for the sailing events.

The girls, mostly local Qingdao teenagers, were selected from over 2,000 candidates. The final names were announced on March 15.
