2007 Hong Kong Shopping Festival hits Beijing

A promotional event about the 2007 Hong Kong Shopping Festival was held at Beijing's Oriental Plaza on Sunday, China News Service reports.

The annual extravaganza, organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), is the best time for visitors to discover the diverse experiences that makes Hong Kong such a shopper's paradise. Along with their unrivalled range of products at rock-bottom and tax-free prices, come summer the city also offers a range of special shopping and dining deals for visitors.

This year's Shopping Festival falls between June 30 to August 31, coinciding with celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the historic establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of China on 1 July 1997.
