China leaders vow to contain drugs

Chinese President Xi Jinping has vowed to harshly crack down on drug-related crimes and to contain the spread of drugs.

In a written instruction made public ahead of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on June 26, Xi called on authorities to be aware of the danger of drugs and adopt forceful measures to wipe them out.
