Competition between China, US intensifying: Scholar

The competition between China and the United States is intensifying, but not a life-or-death struggle. US is now changing its approach to China from the stick and carrot policy to a stick-dominated policy. China’s foreign policy needs to prevent the US from becoming the biggest threat and seeks cooperation in competition in a flexible way. If the US looked down at China in the past, it only starts to be level.
