8 dead, 22 injured in S China road crash

GUANGZHOU - Eight people were killed and 22 others injured in a road accident in south China's Guangdong province on Saturday, local government sources said.

The accident occurred at 3 pm at the highway in Boluo county, Huizhou city, where a truck, out of control after hitting a car, crashed into a coming coach, said a spokesman with the provincial government emergency response office.

The injured were rushed to hospital and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
