BEIJING - Lenovo Group, the fourth-largest personal computer maker, says its 2010 profit more than doubled as global demand rebounded.

Lenovo said Thursday it earned $273 million last year, or $2.73 per share. Global sales rose 30 percent to $21.6 billion.

The company said the growth was driven by strong demand in China and other emerging markets and a revival in demand by companies that put off buying new computer equipment following the 2008 global crisis.
