The office said that the Macao Pavilion, a design of "Lanterna do Coelhinho", is now in the process of decoration and exhibition preparation. All the remaining work will be finished by March.

The Macao Pavilion is covered by a double-layer glass membrane and fluorescent screens. Kinetic balloons will form the head and tail of the "rabbit." In Chinese mythology, the jade rabbit welcomes visitors to a magical fairyland.

According to the Office for Preparation of Macao's Participation in the Expo, the Macao Pavilion will showcase Macao Special Administrative Region's (SAR) recent economic developments, social and cultural achievements through advanced multimedia technology and interactive features.
