Major shows at the Shanghai World Expo will be held at the seashell-shaped Performance Center - at 120,000 square meters, the largest performance arena in China, said Wang Zhongwei, head of the Publicity Department of CPC Shanghai, who urged workers yesterday to "spare not a minute" in meeting the February 10 deadline.

A highlight of the center is its main theater that can be adapted to accommodate 4,000 to 18,000 seats.
