LIMA - The skipper of a Chinese fishing boat, which capsized in waters off a western Peruvian port, was found dead, the Chinese embassy said on Wednesday.

The skipper's body was recovered in the boat by Peru's navy, said the embassy, adding that the other 22 crew members had been rescued.
The three Chinese crew members were extricated by the Peruvian navy and sent to a local hospital for treatment, said the Chinese embassey.
On Tuesday night, 19 crew members had been placed on another fishing boat after being rescued.
"Fuyuan 3" belongs to the Yantai marine fishery company of east China's Shandong Province.
