Jinmen University opens to mainland students

Jinmen University, Taiwan's first university outside its major island, opened on Aug.1.

According to local media, the former Jinmen Institute of Technology is planning to recruit the students from the Chinese mainland without a limit on numbers.

Zhu Chongshi, the president of Xiamen University who attended the opening ceremony, said there are many good universities in Taiwan, and it is helpful to join the Taiwan-invested company by attending schools over there.
