China's sovereign wealth fund to absorb new int'l talent

BEIJING - The China Investment Corporation (CIC), the nation's sovereign wealth fund, announced Tuesday it would start a new round of global hiring for "business development" reasons.

The recruiting covers 64 job positions, including asset allocation and strategic research, risk management, strategic investment and private-equity investment, according to a statement on CIC website.

Applications will be accpeted till August 9, it said.

The CIC was established in September 2007 with a registered capital of 200 billion U.S. dollars from China's huge foreign exchange reserves.
