Blast kills four in illegal explosives plant

SHIJIAZHUANG - Four people were killed by a blast at a farmer's house in north China's Hebei Province Sunday, local authorities said Monday.

Likely caused by the illegal production of explosives, the blast occurred at 3 pm in Jindian Township, Neiqiu County, according to a statement from the county publicity department.

The blast killed three instantly. One died in hospital on Monday.

Police are still investigating.
