40 Yemen diplomats to get training course in China

SANAA: Yemeni Foreign Ministry said 40 fresh graduates who joined the ministry recently, will go to China for a training course on international relations and diplomatic negotiations, state-run SABA news agency reported Wednesday.  

Undersecretary of the Yemeni Foreign Ministry for the Arab, African and Asian Affairs Ali al-Ayachi said "Arrangements were made between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries."

The course aims to develop abilities and skills of the Yemeni diplomatic staff in political and diplomatic fields.

The three-week course, due to start on November 10 in Beijing, includes a number of educational programs and lectures on international relations and diplomatic negotiations as well as visits to several cities in China.

"The cooperation came in the framework of aid program and scholarships provided by Chinese government to our country according to the protocol inked between the two countries recently, " Ayachi said.
