Traffic collision kills 11, injures three in E China

HEFEI: A traffic accident killed 11 people and injured three others in East China's Anhui Province Sunday, local authorities said.

The accident took place at about 4:10 pm on a highway in Taihe County when a truck collided with a mini-bus, a spokesman with local traffic police said.

The truck was overtaking the minis-bus when the collision happened, the spokesman said.

The case is under investigation, he said.
