China to lower gasoline price

China is to lower gasoline and diesel prices by 220 yuan ($32) per ton, or 0.16 yuan and 0.19 yuan per liter for each from July 29, said the country's top economic planning body today, a move in the wake of a declining global crude price.

The National Development and Reform Commission made the price cut almost one month after it raised prices of diesel and gasoline on June 30.
