3 dead, 3 seriously injured in China truck-ambulance crash

HOHHOT: A truck collided with a military ambulance Saturday in north China, leaving three dead and another three critically injured, according to the local work safety authorities.

The accident occurred at about 3 am in Xilingol Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, when an ambulance carrying eight crashed with a truck loaded with Chinese cabbages.

One in the ambulance died at the scene and two more died after failed emergency treatment. Another three are in critical condition.

The crash is under investigation.
