Premier Wen arrives in Prague for summit

PRAGUE -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in Prague on Wednesday for the 11th summit between Chinese and European Union (EU) leaders scheduled for the same day.

Premier Wen arrives in Prague for summit China and EU to work together on recycling

During his brief stay in Prague, Wen will hold talks with EU leaders, including Czech President Vaclav Klaus, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency, EU Commission President Jose Barroso, Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Walder and Commissioner for Trade Baroness Catherine Ashton, to exchange views on bilateral relations and major international and regional issues.

Wen will also have a bilateral meeting with President Klaus after the China-EU summit.

The China-EU Leaders' Meeting was started in 1998 in London.
