China reports 4th confirmed H1N1 flu case

BEIJING -- China's Ministry of Health Tuesday confirmed a man in southern Guangdong Province, who recently returned from a tour of the United States and Canada, tested positive for the A(H1N1) influenza.

The man, surnamed Yang, became the fourth confirmed A(H1N1) case in the Chinese mainland in less than 10 days.

Yang flew to Hong Kong via the Republic of Korea Wednesday. He then took a train to Guangdong on Friday.

The first such flu case involving a man surnamed Bao in southwestern Sichuan Province was confirmed on May 11.
