Preparatory meeting scheduled for CPPCC session

BEIJING -- A preparatory meeting is scheduled for Sunday for the 1st Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Following are the major agenda that Xinhua will cover:

-- The preparatory meeting will deliberate and pass the composition of the presidium of the CPPCC session, and a namelist of chairperson and secretary general of the presidium meeting;

-- The meeting will adopt the agenda of the First Session of the 11th CPPCC National Committee and a namelist of the First Session's proposals examination committee;

-- The presidium will gather for its first meeting to deliberate and pass the namelist of executive chairpersons of the presidium;

-- A news conference on the CPPCC session will be held.
