Police in Jian'ou, Fujian Province, recently captured a thief who had committed more than 20 crimes in hotels in the city in the past six years.

To their surprise, the thief was a rich man who owns several companies that deal in computer accessories in several cities nationwide. He told police he stole to test whether he had the ability to evade the police.

Lin Qiang served a six-month prison term for stealing six years ago. Upon completion of the prison term, he continued stealing.

Each time he stole from a hotel, he would don a Western suit and tie so that nobody would suspect he was a thief.
