A young man in Xiamen, Fujian Province, is so squeamish he refuses to kiss or even hold his girlfriend's hand, fearing he will get dirty.

Two former girlfriends broke up with the man, surnamed Chen, because of his hygiene compulsions. After a date he cannot even sleep at night for fear his clothes have been contaminated.

Chen has refused to see a psychologist as he claims he is fastidious rather than compulsive.
